Known as Totternish amongst the locals, this area of Scotland offers some of the most striking landscapes in the country.
This spacious, detached house lies only a few yards from the seashore in the scattered community of Balmaquein, midway between Duntulm and Flodigarry, and is fantastically placed for easy access to everything this picturesque island has to offer. The property itself is simple but comfortable and has been furnished to a high standard. It provides cosy, welcoming accommodation for up to six adults with incomparable panoramic views of the Scottish mainland and scenic Skye. Ideally placed for walkers, climbing enthusiasts and those just looking for some peace and quiet, this house is a great location for the holidaymaker that wants some space. The main tourist attractions are all close by and Portree, twenty-five miles away provides a range of pubs and restaurants.
Accommodation
Central heating with electric fire in sitting room. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, TV, video, stereo/CD player. All fuel and power inc. in rent from 1st April to 30th September, £20 fuel supplement 1st October to 31st March. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 3 cars. One well-behaved dog welcome. Shop 8 miles, pub 2 miles. Note: Dogs should be kept under control at all times as sheep roam freely. Note: Parents please note close to rocky shore, dangerous for unsupervised children. |
